fps-bot:

She taps her screen, displaying a map of the game. “I will show you. But it. Is a bit. Dangerous.” She traces along the map, leading past the main entrance to the lab and up to the top.

“Somewhere along this hallway is a room full of them. The. Only problem is that. They only spawn when. A game. Is. Started…”

Markowski nodded. before nodding to his arm. “No problem,” He said. “I bet I can do that while everyone else is out. Doubt they will let someone with one arm out there. Bet I’ll stick out like a sore thumb, and Sarge ain’t going to be happy about that.”

Then another problem hit Markowski.

“So…How can I get them with one arm? It’s going to be tough trying to hold all those…”

She beams at him, setting the print down and patting it. “… there is one small. Issue however.” Sonata rubs her arm and pulls out a red box, fumbling around in it.

“Your robotic. Arm. Will need power. But… It seems I am out. Of fuel boxes..” she holds up a small blue glowing box. “They look like. This…”

Markowski’s enthusiasm slightly dampened when he heard about the possible limitations that Sonata’s design likely would have. There always was a catch. Regardless, the fact that he could have a working limb again made that moment of disappointment brief.

“So where can I find some of those?” Markowski asked.

Locked and Loaded!: fps-bot:“Yes. This is where I go. After hours.” She closes the door...

fps-bot:

“More or less… Why not?” She beams and begins to draw out a schematic. “It WILL take a while. And. There will be many. Prototypes.. But I will. Not give. Up until it is..” She dots her paper and looks up at him. “Perfect.”

Sonata turns back to the paper and continues with her work. “Do you. Want this?”

Markowski looked it over. At this point, he didn’t exactly care what it looked like. He was going to get a robotic arm! That was…pretty cool, in his opinion. Not to mention he would be able to use his right arm again. There was also the fact that Sydney would be able to stop worrying… So with that mindset, Markowski smiled as he handed the blueprint back to Sonata.

“It’s perfect.”

Calhoun took a small step back, bringing her hand around, preparing to smack with contraption out of his hand, before the hologram made her come to a halt. As she watched, her eyebrows furrowed, as well as her glassy eyes seemed to bounce about the small text. She turned to Markowski, lifting her right hand to point at the said object in his hand. "Th' heck is that, Markowski?" She asked, this time, her voice was softer. Her expression crossed with curiosity, and moreover, befuddlement.
sergeant-tamoracalhoun asked

“It’s a holotext. I used it to look up stuff, and when I went to the tower, I used it to get stuff off the computers I found there.”

Taking his response for backtalk, Calhoun shook her head and took a step forward, wrapping her fingers around the collar of his armor and yanked him down so they were face to face. "You're pushing your luck, Markowski..." She growled, but began to understand that he was honest. "What in the name of all things holy were you doing in the tower WITHOUT PERMISSION?"
sergeant-tamoracalhoun asked

Markowski was silent, only bringing out the holotext, and played the video with Alek Markowski on it.

Calhoun blinked, biting down on her tongue. She didn't believe it. Not at all. With a swift smack to his jaw, ( but not enough to hurt him ) she recoiled her fist back down to her side. "You keep up this bull roar you're in for a world of hurt, Markowski!" She barked, at least five inches away from his face. Finally, she lowered her voice a little. "You best be telling the truth, solider. You know MUCH BETTER than to lie to me, correct?!"
sergeant-tamoracalhoun asked

Markowski still flexed his jaw after getting hit in the face, just as a reflex. After seeing Calhoun still glare at him, he raised his hand in a placating gesture.

“I’m serious, Sarge. I’m completely serious. I mean, how else can you lose an arm? I’m being completely honest here…”

"An accident." Calhoun repeated, her tone harsh and brash. "You're gonna stand here and lie straight to my face? I don't think so! Answer me honestly. THAT'S AN ORDER!" She snapped.
sergeant-tamoracalhoun asked

Markowski swallowed as Calhoun snapped at him. This was easily worst than any other time that Calhoun snapped at him. Sighing, he mentally prepared himself.

“Well…you see…I might have went to the tower…”

“Yes. This is where I go. After hours.” She closes the door behind him and smacks his hand lightly. “Do not touch.”

Sonata wheels passed him and clears a space on a cluttered desk, placing down a blueprint. “I think… I might be able to. Build something. That will solve your… problem.”

“Okay, okay.” Markowski said as he set the piece of machinery down.
It was times like this that Markowski missed having another arm, since Sonata didn’t know her own strength.

As Sonata laid out her idea, Markowski held up a hand.

“Wait, wait, are you telling me…That you’re going to make me a robotic arm?”

Snarling, Calhoun stormed up to Markowski, her lips twisting with quieted rage. She opened her mouth to bark something else, but her eyes caught a glimpse of his missing arm. Instantly, her rage burst. "What the hell happened to your arm?!"
sergeant-tamoracalhoun asked

Markowski blinked as he tried to think of something.

“Umm…Accident?”

"MARKOWSKI! FRONT AND CENTER!"
sergeant-tamoracalhoun asked

Markowski scrambled to saluting position. He stopped himself from saluting with his right, and saluted with his left.
